#VIDEO3 SAVE PLAYGROUNDS ARE BAD FOR KIDS. During the German occupation of Denmark Carl Theodor Sorensen noticed that kids would play everywhere from boombed buildings to construcion sites, exept playgrounds. That made him decide to close an empty lot in suburbs to make a jank playground which was filled with building materials, tools and random objects so kids could explore, dig and build the area as they wanted. After that multiple of these where built in the UK,  under the name of adventure playgrounds and they became global phenomenon. But why? Kids respond well to being treated seriously. If they are given risky items and free space to use them on their own, they will act carefully. The problem starts when you present to them overly save constructions... they start looking for risks that they aren't provided with. Statistics confirm that most of the serious injuries happen at save playgrounds not the ones we are so sceptical about. Beside that reportedly children who play...
#VIDEO2 This week I watched a very interesting experiment that a scientist did on himself. Anatoli Brouchkov injected his body with 3.5 milion year old virus that was discovered in 2009 in Mammoth Mautain. His main question was, how the virus manage to stay alive after all those years trapped in the ice. A. Brouchkov started experimenting on animals as well as plants and the results were very interesting. He thought that this could be a potential longevity serum and becouse of that he wanted to do an experiment on a human subject - himself. After injecting  the virus scientist said he is in the best shape he has ever been and is even more determined to find the immortal bacteria. PERMAFROST  (wieczna zmarzlizna) - The biggest amount of permafrost is found in and around the Arctic and Antarctic regions. THAWING - It's getting hoter so the snow started thawing UNRAVELED - Scientists unraveled a mystery that may help in improving human health https://www.youtube.co...
#VIDEO1 This week I have watched a video that explains why we tend to go cold on our partners. The main reason narrator is focusing on is boredom. The boredom he is talking about is very complicated and complexed. It appears because of our emotions like anger or hurt fellings that we keep just to ourselvs. He explains to us that we can be deeply hurt by very small things like not giving us enough attention while we speak about what we will eat. We are embarrassed to talk about issues like that because they seem childish and saying them out loud can sound absurd. However we should remember that in a healthy relationship there isn't place for humiliation and we should be able to express our feelings even if they are critial.  INEVITABLE - Both cars were speeding so fast the crash was  inevitable. DISTRESS - After the deth of her husband she was in a complete distress. VULNERABLE - People that are vulnerable tend to cry very often.
Reflections #2 This weekend I realized a lot of things. I realized how much nice weather affects me, how fast time passes and how much I hate myself for having bad priorities. The last two are sometimes really  bothering me… in some way I hate thinking about them, it's just really sad and overwhelming. Maybe the problem is in the way I look at them, but I just can't do it differently. It's really frustrating how much you want to change something but the process of doing this is soooo long.  I think overall these topics aren't easy for a lot of people. They can come to your mind any time of the day and stay for quite some time. But you can also really easily forget about them and just get lost in the rights of today's society... In my opinion the hardest thing is to always have them at the back of your head and still live in the Harmony with yourself. If you can do it you can really be proud of yourself.
Reflections #1 Today I was listening to quite a lot of music and at some point I came across some tracks that I used to be obsessed about. And I started to think and trying to remember when did I stopped listening to them. How did it happen?  Did I just forgot about them one day and never listened to them again?  It is so weird to think about it. There had to be a day when I played this song one last time for a long term\period of time and I didn't even know that it was the sad last time.  In some cases I don't even  think it was because I was bored with it, I just never played it again.  The only reason I have found is that I'm not a kind of person that has an idol or a favourite gener of music and because of that I find something new and completely different quite often.  But beside that I don't have any explanation for this and its driving me crazy.
Does school prepare us for life? Well the answer is a big NO. Why? because it simply does not. School will not teach you how to pay your bills, how to handle money how to find a job or how to cook. I think that school trays really hard to kill our creativity and self development. Halve or probably even more of things we have to learn will never be useful. School trains us in how to follow the instructions (what is GOOD) and how to remember lots of things for test, 90% of a time just for a test :)
Is £600 for a night at the Mandarin Oriental a good value of money? Sadly even in XXI century there are still division in society in some places more drastic than in others but they are everywhere. So money can be seen from lots or perspectives, we have wealthy people like Bill Gates who earn weekly millions of dollars, we have average people and poor once who suffer to have even something to eat. For the first group I mentioned that 600 wouldn't make a defiance at all so why wouldn't they spend that money on a hotel. If they wont to I personally don't mind they will probably have a really good experience and if that makes them happy why not.T hey value money differently maybe in some cases they take it for granted but who am I to judge. For an average person its a lot and i think that there are better, more important and more educating things too spend that money on than to sleep one night in some fancy hotel.  So is it a good value of money? I don't know.
